Food Support Program– Minnesota’s name for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is designed to help people with low incomes buy nutritious foods. -Center Based: Serving children 3-5 years old in classroom setting 4 days per week. Comprehensive education, health, nutrition and parent involvement.
-Home Based: Serving children birth-5 years old. Home visits involving parent and child 1-1/2 hours 1 day per week. Classroom experience 3 hours 2 days per month.
-Combination: Serving children 3-5 years old in classroom setting 2 half days per week in Randall area. Home visits involving parent and child 1-1/2 hours 2 days per month.
-Early Head Start (EHS): Home visits for mothers; prenatal education and support. 320-632-3691
-EHS Center Based: Full day center based care for infants and toddlers.
-Child Care Partnership: Partnering with area child care providers to provide enhanced services. 320-632-3691
Love and Logic– Parenting Support: The Love and Logic Institute is dedicated to making parenting fun and rewarding, instead of stressful and chaotic. Provides practical tools and techniques that help adults achieve respectful, healthy relationships with their children and help them prepare their kids for the real world. Early Childhood Screening– A brief simple procedure used to identify potential health or developmental problems. Ages 3 1/2 –4 need to be screened for preschool and kindergarten.
